1️⃣ 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱⁠⁠
The most important principle of good design is so obvious yet often overlooked: make sure your text is easy to read.⠀

❕Don’t overdo it with fancy typefaces that might look pretty, but ultimately will detract from legibility.
❕Make it readable in a way that your ICA scrolling fast down their feed will be able to grasp the message.

2️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀⁠⁠
The choice of colors is essential, since different colors evoke different feelings. As you start your designs, think about what feelings you want to evoke.

Once you have a sense of your desired mood and effects, you can play around with the color palette. Keep in mind that:
❕The colors set the tone and mood more than any other element in the design.
❕Different color hues are perceived differently.
❕The same color used in differen palettes will have a different impact on the viewer.
❕Color contrast is basically responsible for the legibility of the text and design elements in the composition. The more contrasting design elements are from each other, the better the readability.

3️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘀⁠
⁠Much like color, typography conveys mood and tone, sometimes more powerfully than the copy itself.

When choosing a font, think about the desired tone of your words. How would you like the viewer to perceive your message?⠀
⠀
❕A combination of fonts is acceptable, as long as you keep the aesthetics of the design and remember to not use more than 3 different fonts.

4️⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁
Strive for consistency with your graphics and your overall brand presence.
❕Use brand colors, fonts, design elements.
❕Design in the same style, or use the same layouts to create your launch graphics.

To sum it up:
✅ If your graphics look and feel cohesive and related, the users will start to form a clearer understanding of your brand in their minds.
❌ If your graphics look and feel different every time, they will have no  clue of what to expect from you.

You have a few logos and maybe even your brand colors and fonts but when it comes to creating your marketing assets, your brand is all over the place.⁠

SOLUTION: set up a series of pre-made materials with your brand elements: client proposals, welcome kits, IG graphics, newsletter banner, Pinterest graphics (or have a designer made them for you 🙋🏻‍♀️).⁠

1. Figure out all the steps you have in your client experience⁠
2. List all the marketing materials that you need⁠
3. Create a branded copy for every item⁠
4. Duplicate them every time you need a new copy to send out to clients, or post on social media.⁠
